Frugaldom promotes frugal living, self-sustainability, environmental awareness, heritage, art and conservation.
We offer short breaks and self-catering holidays as well as volunteer opportunities via our Frugal Breaks caravan and cottage accommodation, where our cisitors can come and help cultivate food gardens, plant trees, get creative with natural crafting materials, go foraging, explore wildlife habitats and interact with the ponies & chickens, as well as watching the wildlife around us. These rural breaks can include outdoor pursuits such as fishing, archery, rowing, running, walking, target shooting, golf, horse riding or learning more about the area via our propossed new visitor facility.

Willow growing & coppicing
Food production - fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs
Farm-style shop offering local produce and handcrafted products
EcoArts - art in nature / sensory garden
Galloway Pony heritage & history learning zone
Galloway Pippin heritage apple orchards
Tree planting to create working and foraging woodlands - as part of the Woodland Trust's tree planting scheme.
