Furniture Plus Ltd is the largest furniture re-use and recycling organisation in Fife. It was established with a remit to provide low cost, quality goods and furnishings to low income households in Fife, thereby alleviating furniture poverty; and to provide employment and training opportunities to strive to alleviate social exclusion. Now in its tenth year, Furniture Plus has continued to grow and has a 10,000sqft sales warehouse in Dysart, plus a new and growing Training/Employability Centre. It also has a retail shop in Cowdenbeath (1,200sqft) and a larger retail warehouse in Inverkeithing (25,000sqft). It currently employs 25 full/part time staff; regularly hosts a variety of placements every week and is grateful to the services of 28 current volunteers.
