Hame-ish Arts creates opportunities for Scotland-based creatives (primarily musicians and poets) to talk about and perform their original work. Our audiences have the opportunity to discover new talent - perhaps new favourites, and have fun the process. Our core offering is our Hame-ish shows with the tag-line: a night out that feels like a night in. During these a line-up of acts perform their work by taking turns and following an order that we devise collaboratively with them. This creates a natural flow between pieces and a lovely sense of collective ownership of the end-to-end show. Our audiences tell us they appreciate and enjoy this informal and harmonious atmosphere.
