Scran Academy is a catering social enterprise providing great value food, that not only tastes good, but does good! Overseen by our trained chefs and cooks, our kitchen offers a tasty range of freshly made and great value grub, for all sorts of events, companies and occasions! At Scran Academy, we support the most vulnerable young people to transition beyond the classroom into the workplace and wider life. We offer young people a unique yet critical pre-work and pre-apprenticeship development journey within our real life business. Our approach is to focus on what they CAN DO, not what they don't have. Young people gain a first-hand work experience in a dynamic food and drink social start-up, helping to work across the development of the business. They will go through a subtle, yet bespoke skills training journey and gain qualifications where appropriate. In short, we will help them flourish in learning, life and work.
