Sharing A Story CIC is a small social enterprise in East Lothian. We run shared reading and creative writing workshops for different community groups in a bid to foster social cohesion and improve health and well-being.

Sharing stories together as a group can foster social cohesion and we have seen at first-hand the difference these sessions, and the magic of words, can make to people's health and well-being.

We run online and in-person workshops and take a co-creative approach to our work to ensure it meets the needs of participants. We have worked with organisations including Women's Aid East and Midlothian, Stepping Out Mental Health charity, Heavy Sound CIC, Dunbar Dementia Carers Support group, Dementia Friendly East Lothian, Luminate, East Lothian day centres, Capital Theatres and Families in Trauma and Recovery.
