Join us for this informal and interactive Learning Exchange to Flexible Childcare Services Scotland (FCSS), established to challenge the inflexibility of current childcare provision across Scotland with the goal of improving parental employment while simultaneously reducing child poverty.
FCSS works locally in Aberdeen/shire, Dundee, East Ayrshire and Moray. Their mission is to empower children, families, and communities to work, rest or learn by creating access to flexible, affordable and responsive childcare, education, children’s services and wraparound support. Their approach has been developed with the children, families, practitioners and professionals that use it – to create a high quality, flexible and affordable service that is inclusive and accessible to all (including specialist support for children and young people with Additional Support Needs).
The Exchange will begin with tea/coffee at 10.00, and we will start at 10.30. And we’ll aim to finish around 2.30/3pm.
Community Learning Exchanges are great opportunities to connect, to share learning and experience. Places are limited so you’re recommended to book early and to ensure the maximum benefit, please limit to 2 per organisation
Thank you to Scottish Community Alliance for funding this Community Learning Exchange. Their funding covers the travel costs for social/community enterprises to attend this Exchange.
