NomadAlba is a human skills consultancy and social impact company rooted in Scotland and open to the world. We work with women, neurodivergent people, and those the mainstream has moved past — because the people who have been overlooked are often the ones with the most to offer.
We are not a tech accelerator. We are not a coding bootcamp. We are not building for Silicon Valley. We are building for here, and for everywhere that looks like here.
What kind of nomad are we talking about?
Not the laptop-on-a-beach kind. Not the location-independent hustle kind.
The nomads we mean move with purpose. They carry knowledge across territories. They cross borders — economic, educational, social — that weren't designed for them to cross. They adapt without losing who they are.
Alba is the anchor. The land, the belonging, the home you return to. The tension between movement and rootedness is not a contradiction — it is exactly what makes us who we are..
We work with women founders, neurodivergent people, underemployed people, and underrepresented communities — and with the organisations that want to serve them well. What we hold in common is this: a belief that the people who have been passed over are often the ones with the most to offer. Our work is creating the conditions for that to become visible.
