Founded in June 2025, Angus Business Hub is a social enterprise created for Angus business owners, by Angus business owners.

Since its inception, the team have hosted 14 events with a combined attendance of 200 local entrepreneurs.

Angus Business Hub was created to bridge the gaps between local business initiative, reduce isolation and to break down barriers in accessing support for Angus business owners.

We run networking events, workshops, social events and host an online community group through Facebook with over 500 members.

We also launched our quarterly magazine, Biz&Blether, in January 2025.

Our team combines decades of business experience, and we all saw the same – whilst Angus is very community minded, it didn’t quite reach to the business community.

Local business owners felt isolated and unsupported. Information and events were hard to find and keep up with. Angus has so many fantastic business initiatives, they just need more people to find them.

So we came together as Angus business owners to build the bridges within our community and create a more accessible and supportive space that all Angus business owners can enjoy and grow within.

We all hear ‘support local’, but that doesn’t just mean buying from local businesses. We want to support the people behind the businesses so we can all grow a more prosperous Angus, together.
