Maddi Cassell

Maddi is the founder and co-director of Lex Scotland CIC, an organisation promoting and supporting Lived Experience Leadership through training, consultancy and advocacy, as well as coproducing and delivering Lived Experience-led Equity, Diversity & Inclusion training. They have had a long career in the third sector before setting up a social enterprise, including EDI roles, volunteer co-ordination and training, and project management. They have also been involved in community work for over 30 years, from delivering community music programmes to being a trustee of Govanhill Community Development Trust. They bring their own lived expertise of marginalisation including being Autistic/ADHD, Disabled and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
