Gifting with impact and the power of stories

Social Stories Club is a sustainable gifting company on a mission to share the amazing world of social enterprises and their powerful stories.
We curate beautiful gift hampers where each product inside contributes to positive social or environmental change. From delicious chocolate that supports global reforestation projects to Earl Grey tea helping to educate girls in India, each of the products inside our gift boxes and hampers creates a social or environmental impact.
We’re extremely proud to be partnered with over 30 social ventures from around the UK. They each have a powerful story and one we love to share, so included in every hamper or gift box is a story booklet that documents each brand’s story, introduces the gift recipient to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and our social enterprise. We are constantly working to expand our product ranges and this year, we will be launching some exciting new products and gift hampers for the festive season.
Over the last few months, we have managed to reach some big business milestones, in particular expanding our team and moving to our new premises. These steps signify a new chapter for Social Stories Club and we are so excited to see what the rest of the year brings. We were also absolutely thrilled to receive our Living Wage accreditation earlier in August. Being a Living Wage employer is so important to us as it shows our growing team how much we care and that we value their hard work.
Another one of our main priorities has been reducing our impact on the environment and we are constantly researching new ways to improve and reduce our carbon footprint. Earlier this month, we were pleased to announce that as of now all of our deliveries are carbon neutral. Offsetting our carbon emissions has been made possible through the Offset app which is linked to our Shopify website.
In other exciting news, Social Stories Club has been named a finalist for the 2021 Social Enterprise UK Awards. We have been shortlisted for the International Impact Award which recognises social enterprises working internationally, and which are having a big impact in their field. We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised in this way and amongst some of the most inspiring social enterprises in the UK. We have also been shortlisted for the Entrepreneur for Good Award in Scotland and Northern Ireland by the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, another fantastic honour and amongst some truly amazing nominees.
