Posted: 20 September 2021, in News

We are delighted to launch a new #BuySocialScotland campaign this week: the Corporate Challenge, with support from the Scottish Government.

The initiative includes a new website that makes it easier for private, public, and third sector buyers to find B2B services and goods from social enterprises to include in their supply chain to deliver social and environmental impact, meet their CSR and ESG goals, and make a difference in Scottish communities.

Please watch the campaign video below and access the campaign toolkit to help us share the word, promote the sector and each other.

If you’re keen to learn more about the campaign, it’s not too late to sign up to the online launch event tomorrow Tuesday 21st September at 2pm with with Tom Arthur, MSP and Minister for Public Finance, Planning and Community Wealth, as well as the corporate partners and social enterprise suppliers signed up to the campaign.

If you’re a social enterprise and would like to be added to the new website, get in touch at buysocial@socialenterprise.scot. It’s absolutely free to be promoted and with our media and social ads campaign running from this week onwards, it’s a great opportunity for organisations with tight marketing budgets to benefit from the outreach.

This campaign builds on the success of the first Buy Social Scotland pilot that we launched last December to showcased products, experiences and vouchers from social enterprises as “gifts that give back” in the lead-up to Christmas. The consumer-oriented online gift directory saw over 24,000 visitors flock to the website through that month alone and we will be running that campaign again across November and December this year.
