Creative Catalyst Scotland

Creative Catalyst (Scotland) CIC is a social enterprise which supports young people into Creative Careers. Most young people we work with face barriers to education, employment and training; this can be due to social anxiety, a lack of confidence or mental health issues. We aim to be the conduit for these young people to connect with and learn from professional artists and makers in Perth & Kinross. Our ultimate goal is to connect dozens of young people each year with their possible futures by supporting their wellbeing, confidence and abilities. At Creative Catalyst young people have the opportunity to explore different mediums and techniques, meet like-minded creatives and learn about different creative jobs. We offer: Various creative workshops, in small groups with professional artists and designers Mentoring, advice and sign-posting from artists and designers The chance to join in on real-life, professional commissions Facilities to make products to sell with Creative Catalyst at makers markets and elsewhere At all times, each young person is able to choose what they participate in. We are here to support young people to find their own path.
