GetOut Outdoor Learning is a Community Interest Company based in East Lothian, delivering Forest School programmes, outdoor learning experiences, and Forest Therapy sessions for schools, families, and adults.
Founded in summer 2024 by three qualified Forest School leaders, GetOut grew from a shared passion developed while working together in their local community woodlands. Having witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of Forest School on themselves and the groups they served, our founders were driven to make quality outdoor learning accessible to as many people as possible.
Our vision is to spark positive change for people, communities, and planet by reconnecting individuals with nature — regardless of age or background. We believe that time spent outdoors is not just enjoyable, but essential for health, wellbeing, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
