Social Investment Scotland

At Social Investment Scotland (SIS), our mission is to connect capital with communities to make a real, measurable and sustainable impact upon people’s lives.

We provide loan finance from £25,001 to £875,000k, aimed at community enterprises and social businesses that might find access to finance from mainstream providers difficult. Since 2001, we have invested over £167 million in more than 570 impactful enterprises. Our activities reach enterprises, people, and communities in all 32 of Scotland’s local authority areas.
