In our newest spotlight, we’re happy to be joined by Babatunde Emmanuel Adetutu, Founder and CEO of Glow Impact CIC. Glow Impact works to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity through training economically inactive and disadvantaged youth with digital skills.
What does your social enterprise do?
Glow Impact CIC empowers disabled, disadvantaged, and desolate Scottish youth with digital skills to prepare them for the future of work, reducing crime and promoting inclusivity.
How do you do it?
We deliver free training programs in website design , and entrepreneurship for underserved youth, providing practical skills and mentorship.
Why should someone buy/use your product/services? What are the benefits and what makes your organisation unique?
Our services create career pathways, transform lives, and foster inclusivity. We uniquely combine accessibility, innovation, and community impact.
What is your personal motivation?
My motivation is to uplift others, inspired by my own journey overcoming challenges and restarting my career as an immigrant in Scotland.
What is the current focus for your social enterprise?
We are focused on scaling our training programs and building partnerships for wider reach.
What exciting things do you have coming up?
We are launching advanced bootcamps and forging collaborations with tech companies for internships.
Who do you want to work with more?
We want to work more with corporations, educators, and local governments.
What’s your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge is sustainable funding to expand programs and reach more youth.
Where do you see your organisation in 5 years?
In five years, we aim to be a leading hub for digital empowerment, with a nationwide impact.
What top tips would you give to other social enterprises?
Focus on your mission, build strong partnerships, and adapt to community needs.
