Welcome to Recovery Coaching Scotland, a Community Interest Company working across the Scottish Prisons Service and Recovery Communities in Scotland to deliver recovery coaching training.

Recovery Coaching Scotland is a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation dedicated to empowering individuals on their recovery journeys. We specialise in delivering recovery-based education programmes within recovery communities and Scottish Prison Service establishments. Our organisation is a Community Interest Company (CIC) with an asset lock, ensuring that our resources are used solely for the benefit of the community.

We work in Scottish Prisons in partnership with the prisons services, including HMP Edinburgh, Glenochil, Shotts, Perth, Stirling, and Community Custody Units in Dundee and Glasgow. Additionally, we are commissioned locally to provide a recovery coach as part of a multidisciplinary Justice team within the local authority's justice service.

We are also the host organisation for Borders in Recovery, the Lived Experience Recovery community in the Scottish Borders.

We also work in the community supporting returning citizens and providing training for organisations and recovery communities.

Our mission is to foster a recovery-oriented environment that supports individuals in building meaningful, healthy lives, both within the community and the justice system. Core to our delivery is our Peer Pathways training programme, which aims to support individuals in navigating their recovery.
